Green Conference A Big Hit!
On October 2nd, 2007, Finlay hosted The Green Conference along with Appleton Coated, Mohawk Fine Papers, and RIS the paper house. The event was a huge success! The day long program focused on educating designers, print buyers and marketing executives on the benefits of “going green” in their corporations’ printed materials.

Finlay Receives SmartWood Certification
The Rainforest Alliance has recently certified Finlay as a SmartWood Chain-of-Custody company. Wood products certified by SmartWood are recognized as coming from "well managed" forests adhering to strict environmental and socioeconomic standards in accordance with the Principles and Criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

Graph Comm08 was a big success this year on April 10 at the Boston Marriott Copley. The trade show was filled with nearly 400 attendees including: design firms, ad agencies, college art directors, corporate creatives, and more.

Finlay Joins the FSEA
Since the introduction of the Brilliance™ Foil by Finlay process, Finlay has joined the Foil Stamping and Embossing Associations (FSEA).
The FSEA is a trade organization whose goal is to increase awareness of foilstamping and to educate brand packaging managers and graphic designers on
the benefits of foil stamping.
Finlay is the only company in the United States to offer this new in-linefoil process. It offers tremendous new tools for designers and brandmanagers.
